Mon to fri was devoted to part/sound selection and mixing 3 of the tracks to appear on p.j. wilson,s new album

The songs yet again are very infectious and some are shall we venture, a little bit sexually explicit- oooh these young lad,s -they is cuttin edge!!! We now have Dangerous Who give,s a damn and the charming Psycotic nightmare in the bag!

Tues afternoon saw Robin Morton and his engineer Ewan bring a couple of 1 inch multitrack reels of Louden Wainright tracks from the murky past to transfer to their SDR Mackie harddisk system.from our still functioning
Tascam 1 inch machine. what fun to see the heads sludging up a couple of tracks into the transfer!!!
it was decided that a visit to Pete Veitch,s PIER HOUSE studio to bake the tapes was the best thing to do.It worked a treat on the 30 year old RAF 1st album demo,s which on baking and transfer sounded as good as i remembered them!!

All in all a busy week with the computer working flat out in an effort to elevate Paul,s ideas into little gems.
which of course is extra!lol !!!

Next week sees the return of Big Jim Merrilees and Bob Hillary is popping in on Tues to check out the studio with a view to recording an album.Should be an interesting week.! Paul is in on mon to listen to the progress on his album tracks. No doubt there is still a fair bit fine tuning to be done there.

hope the credit crunch is not getting you all down

cheers for now Dave and Ed.
