last week we saw a very interesting mix of clients. mon-leon desended on us like a whirlwind to record b/vox guides for hisgirl singers in zimbabwe.and screetched like a cat for an hour but i suppose it gets the idea across!! he also did a jingle for the rev jennifer in his church.and to complete a very hectic day he did a selection of jingles for radio zimbabwe which is the station he dj,s for.phew!!! tues-we did an outside recording down at the maitlandfield hotel in haddington of dave davies on the magnificent technics organ situated there.a bit of nostalgia for us yins old enough to remember the toons he played.!we are returning on fri this week to complete the job.wot a nice chap he was and im sure he will shift a good few  albums at his gigs! spent the afternoon working on a song big jim merrilees had recieved from a very nice lady from america called Kaley.we were very pleased how it turned out and utilised quite a few of the new vst instruments we have acquired-ie the ivory grand and virtual acoustic gtr which impressed even cynical moi! wed-was very interesting as a young duo matthew and melissa came in and blew us away with there fine singing. we recorded three tracks the prayer/autumn leaves/broken vows.which was achieved in 2hours! not bad as they had only come to see the studio and for a chat !!! thurs-worked on matthew and melissa,s tracks.they are sounding good.gave them something away to listen to.but fine tuning still to be done.big jim was in to finalise his version of nowhere man for some competition he,s in and we recieved a very nice e.mail from kaley in the states thanking us for our work on her beautiful song ROSALINA which big jim sang no bad tae!  fri-saw a very petite potential pop star ELLIE in with her mom and dad to sing three tracks for her very own cd.!she was very well rehearsed and we put down hero/mama mia/sound of the underground.not bad going for someone just turned 10years old.very nice people as well! what a week-lets see what this week brings .will update you next weeks peeps cheers for now Dave & Ed
